On 21st December 2019, the “Swing for Truong Sa” golf tournament will take place at KN Golf Links – Cam Ranh, organized by KN Cam Ranh Co.,Ltd with the consultation and partnership of The Naval Region 4 Command, and the platform of The Voice of Vietnam (VOV). It is part of a series of activities in the National Tourism Year 2019 event themed “Nha Trang – Color of the Sea” to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Truong Sa liberation.
SWING FOR TRUONG SA is not only a golf tournament with the participation of 132 golfers but also a connection amongst businesses and individuals at both domestic and international, from which to make practical contributions to soldiers and residents living in Truong Sa island. With the theme “Bien Ngot”, all contributions from the golfers, auction, and donations made throughout the day and Gala Dinner will be used towards the building of a water purification systems to turn seawater into freshwater, and provide scholarships for children of soldiers and people on the islands also.
Players will be divided into three divisions: A (HDC 00 - 20), B (HDC 21+), C (Ladies) with the form of 18-Hole Individual Stroke Play (System 36). The prize structure includes 01 Best Gross; Division A & B Best Net – 1st Runner Up - 2nd Runner Up; Ladies Division Best Net and 1st Runner Up; Hole-In-One prizes and 8 special event prizes (04 x Nearest to The Pin, 02 x Longest Drive, 02 x Straightest Drive). The total prize value is estimated at more than 10 billion VND consisting of trophies; Hole-In-One prizes (Mercedes-Benz, Bien Hoa New City villa land plot, KN Paradise townhouse land plot), and other attractive items will be announced at the Gala Evening.
Being considered as the biggest and most meaningful golf tournament in 2019, “SWING FOR TRUONG SA” will take place at KN Golf Links – Cam Ranh – awarded as “Best Golf Course In Vietnam 2019”, “Best New Course in Asia 2018” and shortlisted amongst the Top 6 Best New Golf Course In The World at 2019 World Golf Awards. Taking part in this tournament, golfers will have ticket to join the "Truong Sa" photo exhibition, auction activities, gala dinner, lucky draw and music art performances. With the desire to spread the event's message and close the land-island gap, all activities are preparing thoughtfully with full of spirit of national unity.
